I am an archaeologist working at the intersection of anthropological archaeology and Islamic archaeology. My main research and teaching interests are climate and human-environment interactions; labor and daily life; political economy; the archaeology of the Southern Levant; ceramics; systems of production, distribution and consumption (with a particular focus on the copper and sugar industries); and digital archaeology.
